Brannockbuilt belongs to several professional organizations including the
National Association of Home Builders, and the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association.
Talent and innovative ideas are blended with the needs and individual taste of each customer to make a classic architectural statement.
To accomplish this goal, we work together with industry professionals to build new homes, additions, fine woodworking, kitchens and bathrooms, and complete renovations.
Building a new house or remodeling an existing home is a team effort that normally involves many different people - each with a different viewpoint, a unique personality, and her or his own idea of how the finished project should look. Thorough preparation, proper planning, good coordination and clear communication are the keys to any successful construction project.
Sprayed Cellulose insulation is used to provide an air tight thermal envelope to reduce energy consumption.
Cellulose is “green.” It’s made of 80% post-consumer recycled newsprint. The fiber is chemically treated with non-toxic borate compounds (20% by weight) to resist fire, insects and mold. These chemicals, which have been deemed safe for humans, make cellulose insulation fire retardant. These chemicals also repel rodents, insects, and mold. It provides a green, efficient, non-toxic, affordable thermal solution that’s worth considering.A thorough discussion of Cellulose insulation can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellulose_insulation#Long-Term_Cost_Savings
Below are the steps necessary to create a great remodeling project and great remodeling experience. 1 A free - no obligation - consultation in your home. We want to hear your needs, wants and dreams for the project. we will present you with a Design Agreement so we can move onto the next steps of the process. 2 We will schedule a second meeting to get detailed measurements and photo document the site. With all this information we can now create prelimary drawings, and cost analysis for review. 3 At our next meeting we'll present you with our preliminary designs and cost analysis. 4 Once you approve the preliminary plans and budget, we select all the materials and products needed for the project and create the final drawings, specifications and cost schedule. |
5 One more meeting to approve the final design, time schedule, cost schedule and Construction Agreement.
6 Construction. During this time we would like to meet face-to-face at least once a week. Daily reports are completed to document daily progress. Weekly reports summerize completed task and outline the next week's agenda.
7 After the project is complete we will schedule a 30 day walk-through of the project and a one year walk-though of the project. |
